_____________
-->Feed Begins On A Friday, When Out Of Boredom, A Group Of Adolescents Decide To Spend Spring Break On The Moon At Ricochet Lounge. In What Ways Does This Spring Break Compare With What You Envision When You Think Of Spring Break (A Major Reason For going To The Moon Was To Go Dancing)?

This Sentence Sets Up The Novel In A Way That It Let's The Readers Know
That It Is In A Different Time Setting. A Time Setting That Is Extremely Advanced In Its Technology.on, And Back Is Not Difficult To Attain, Or Carry Out. In Fact, It Sounds As If It Just Like Taking A Trip To The Mall Or The Movie Theater. It Shows That The Moon Is No Longer Significant Because People Can Go There Just To Hangout Out On A Daily Basis, Or Whenever They Want To. Also, It Sets Up The Novel Because Of How The Moon Is Spoken About. It Shows Of The Intelligence Of The People, Because They Have Been Able To Invent A Way, Or Maybe Even Ways To Go To The Moon. In Other Words, The Advanced Technology That They Characters Have To Their Disposal, In The Novel. They Did Not Have Fun On Their Trip To The Moon, Apparently. Therefore, Showing That They've Been There Many Times Before, To The Point Where The Moon Is No Longer A Fun Place To Go Anymore. Thus, It Sets Up The Story In A Way, That The Reader Should Be Able To Identify As Unusual. The Narrator Described The Moon As "Suck." Therefore, Conveying That This Novel Will Be Quite Strange In Many Ways.

Their Spring Break In Comparison Of My Envision Of Spring Break Would Be Quite Different. There's Not Much That I Think About Doing When It Comes To Spring Break. All I Really Do Is Stay Home, Eat, Watch Television, Use The Computer, Other Basic Stuff, And Etc...Maybe I'll Go Out, To My Friends House Or Something, But There Will Be An Academic Reason To It. So0, If It's Just Regular Going Out, To Hang Out, Ehh--Maybe I'll Do Something, Maybe. I Do Not Think About Going To Someone's Party To Party Or Anything Of That Sort. Not My Kind Of Thing Honestly. So In Contrast With The Teenagers Ideal Spring Break And Mine, They Would Be Opposites Of Each Other, Actually. But, If You Compare It To The Majority, Or General Population Of Teens NowADays, Then I Would Say That Those Two Envisions Of A Spring Break Would Be, Pretty Much The Same Thing. You Could Take The Teens Of Today, And Put Them Together With The Teens In The Novel At Some Party Over Spring Break, And They Would All Probably Have Loads Of Fun. Maybe? It's A 50/50 Chance. Win, Or Lose Situation. Either They Will Get Along And Become Best Friends Forever, Or They Might Just All Kill Each Other. It's Practical, And Quite Typical. So, It Could Go Either Way. But, My Point Is That Because Both Group Of Teens Have Such A Similar Idea For Their Spring Break, They Might Be Able To Just Party W/ Each Other. Therefore, This Shows That No Matter What Technology May Bring Human Beings, Teenagers Will Still Be Teenagers.

The Lesions Could Be A Reference To Pimples, Or Zits. On Page 21 Of The Novel, Quendy Came Out Of The Bathroom Freaking Out About The Lesion On Her Forehead That Was Forming, "Omigod! Like Big Thanks To Everyone For Not Telling Me That My Lesion Is Like Meg Completely Spreading" (Anderson, 21). This Shows That A Lesion Is Just As Big Of A Deal As A Pimple Or A Zit, Well To Girls, For The Most Part Anyways. The Feed Inside Of The Characters Is What Produces The Lesions In The First Place. As For Pimples And Zits, I'm Not Sure, But They're Natural. I'm Not So Sure That The Lesions Are Natural Though, Well That's What The Feed Wants Them To Know. They Think It's Pretty Natural For Open Wounds To Just Appear On Their Body. But Anyways, The Only Thing That I Can Think Of That Is Similar To The Lesions Are Human Pimples, Or Zits.
