The island of Japan is an Archipelago Island, which means, chains of islands. The island is divided into 4 Main Islands: Honshu, Kyushu, Hokkaido, and Shikoku. Of the four, Honshu is the largest. It is in the center of Japan, w/ Hokkaido in the North of Japan, and Kyushu and Shikoku are South of Japan.
